Direct of Neptunus Technique Center Mrs. Yulin, General Manager of Neptunus Interlong Dr. Chai Xiangdong and Vice General Manager Dr. Wang yan accorded a friendly reception of their visitation.

Representing President of Neputuns Groups Mr. Zhang Direct, Mrs Yulin expressed our enthusiastic welcome to visitors from Sanofi Pasteur Corporate. Afterwards, Dr. Chai introduced our company, progress on R&D, sales and production, and also emphatically presented Interlong production base construction process and prospect of Sub-unit influenza vaccine project, expressing our strong intents of cooperation with Sanofi Pasteur Corporate on R&D and production.    

After Dr. Chai's presentation, Michel Oulerich gave a basic introduction of Sanofi Pasteur Corporate. Sanofi Pasteur Corporate is one of the leading pharmaceutical tycoons in the world, tied with Pfizer Pharmaceuticals Limited (America) and Glaxo (UK) for the first place in pharmaceutical field. Sanofi Pasteur Corporate is a subsidiary of Sanofi-aventis Group, 1st largest Vaccine developer and manufacturer, and also the largest flu vaccine supplier in the world. It annually supplies 70 million doses of flu vaccine to about 100 countries in the world, covering over 25% of the global flu vaccine market. In 2003, its vaccine sales reached €160millions and they expected to sell 3 million doses of flu vaccine in China in 2004.

Said by Mr. Michel Oulerich, the group selected Neptunus for visitation by reason of Neptunus reputation and brand. They expressed strong interest in construction of flu vaccine production base, and were pleased to assign technique experts making an on-the-spot investigation for material cooperation in the near future.
