Now there are 20 members in Department of Research and Department, of which the professional are 18, including 5 with advanced academic title and 8 with intermediate title, and both doctors and masters account for 50% of the total of the research persons and the remaining are bachelors.

Department of Research and Development puts an emphasis on the development of innovative drugs with proprietary intellectual property right and industrialization of vaccines, whose leading direction is drugs for treatment of liver disease and tumor and vaccines for main pandemics. At present, the products in process include innovative drugs of gene-engineering cytokine, vaccines including influenza vaccine, rabies vaccine and Hemophilus Influenza B Polysaccharide Conjugated Vaccine, and new dosage form protein drugs.
